Ontario Eventing Association YRU25 Clinic with Momo Laframboise & XC Schooling Day
Wednesday, August 4, 2021
Stevens Creek Farm
6439 Second Line Rd
Kars, ON
OEA is pleased to offer riders (Young Riders/U25s and others) a chance to school cross-country at the wonderful facilities at Stevens Creek Farm just outside of Ottawa with seasoned eventer and coach, MOMO LAFRAMBOISE, a pillar of Ontario’s professional eventing community. Momo is a talented international competitor with over 40 years of coaching experience, developing quality horses and training successful riders in the sport of Eventing.
Join Momo in the morning where priority will be given to OEA’s Young Riders/U25 program members who represent a promising and successful cohort of riders dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the sport through training and competition. The YR/U25 groups will be limited to the Pre-Training level and above. Where space allows, riders at higher levels who are not registered in the YRU25 program can be included in the morning program.
After lunch, cross-country schooling will be available to all OE members who wish to participate. For those who do not have an organizer-approved coach available, Momo will run supervised schooling, in small groups based on horse and rider’s experience and capabilities. This Schooling Day format is open to riders at all levels, including those who want to try their hand at XC for the first time. The Program seeks to promote the sport of Eventing in Ontario through its grass roots by providing opportunities for accessible schooling with the goal of encouraging riders across disciplines to try out Eventing, attracting new riders to the sport, and helping them develop their skills.
