OEA's Schooling Day Program seeks to promote the sport of Eventing in Ontario through its grass roots by providing safe and subsidized opportunities for targeted schooling in the three disciplines of Eventing with the goal of encouraging riders across disciplines to try out Eventing, attracting new riders to the sport, and providing opportunities for supervised and affordable schooling with coaches and clinicians to help existing riders develop their skills.
The OEA is pleased to offer riders an opportunity to try their hands at the cross-country discipline of Eventing and to school at Bronte Creek Equestrian’s beautiful facilities in Southern Ontario. Participants are invited to attend with or without coaches for supervised schooling. Any rider without a coach approved by the organizer will be assigned, at no cost, to one of a few groups led by JUDITH BISIKER, based on horse and rider’s experience and capabilities.
- $50 per horse and rider combination.
- Entries open on May 15, 2022 and close on June 7, 2022 (or when the day is full, whichever comes first). Space is limited so sign up early.
- All participants must wear approved safety vests, helmets and footwear.
- No OEA membership is required to take part in an OEA Schooling Day. Ontario Equestrian (OE) membership is required.
- Every effort will be made to accommodate levels, however for scheduling purposes clinic grouping must be at the discretion of OEA.
JUDITH BISIKER is a seasoned eventer who has represented Canada in international horse trials at the highest level and now operates Bronte Creek Equestrian.
