Wits End 2024 Halloween Extravaganza

We are excited to announce the details of our most popular show of the year.  The weekend will offer something for our intrepid eventers and also those who prefer not to jump.  As always, the whole point of all of this is to have some fun. So dig out those costumes and bring your ponies and your peeps and join us on October 26th and 27th.

Eventing Kindergarten Schooling & Halloween On The Flat

Classes:  EK Schooling (SJ & XC), 2 Dressage Classes, Halloween Games /Obstacles Class, Lead Line class, Costume Class

Medic Fee :  A $15.00 medic fee will be added to each rider’s entry.  

Processing Fee:  A 5.65% processing fee will be added to every entry. 

1. EK Schooling ($70.00 + HST) 

• Bring your coaches and your friends and school our spooky show jumping and cross country courses for the EK IV finale show on Sunday.  You don’t have to be entered on the show on Sunday to come for schooling.  Limit of 40 riders total. 

2. DRESSAGE CLASS ($45.00 + HST)
   2 options of Dressage classes, choose one or do both! 1st test will be CADORA tests and the 2nd class will be EK Tests !
   Judged & scored up to 8th place!!

3. Leadline ($25.00 + HST)

• Bring your new riders in costume.  Riders will be assigned challenges suitable for their ability.  Be prepared to show the judge a trick.   $25 + HST. Everyone wins! 

4. Costume Class ($10.00 + HST )
      Meet us in ring 2 for a judged costume class! Bring your best dress horse & Rider or group Costume for your chance to win! Costumes placed 1^st-6^th place!

5. Halloween Games & Obstacles Class ($45.00 + HST)
   Back by popular demand, we will have our Halloween  Games & Obstacles class set up! This year it will be scored like a gambler's choice points system: all obstacles will have a point system person to collect the most points within 3 minutes wins! Eyeball Carry, Pumpkin Jumping, headless Horseman, and Gourd Toss, just to name a few!

Eventing Kindergarten with PUMPKIN JUMPING!!!

Classes:  Eventing Kindergarten with Pumpkin Jumping and Integrated Costume Class

Medic Fee:  A $15.00 medic fee will be added to each rider’s entry.  

Processing Fee:  A 5.65% processing fee will be added to every entry. 

1. Our Eventing Kindergarten Finale ($200.00) 

• Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.  Tadpole to Pre-Training (60cm, 78cm, 85cm and 90cm).  EV 2022 Dressage Tests. Plus, Pumpkin Jumping before Show Jumping.  ($200 + HST) (80 entries maximum).

• **Costumes will be judged during the dressage phase rather than as a separate class or photo booth.  Any props can be discarded before you trot down the centre line – plan your costume accordingly.
