Oakhurst Schooling HT has changed to:

Oakhurst Eventing Derby - July 21, 2024! 

July 20: All courses open for walking – Competitors ONLY may school with coaches for $35 (added onto your entry).  Regular schooling fee is $75

July 21: EV100, EV90, EV85, EV75, EV60 8:00am - dressage; 9:00am-modified SJ and XC Jumping.

Weekend stabling is available. Provincial Sport Licences (Ontario Equestrian or Cheval Quebec) only.

Entry to stabling is through the main entrance: 8249 Fernbank Rd. Follow signs - Negative Coggins test required within 12 months for stabling only.

DRESSAGE TESTS: EV100: 2023 EV100 Test 1, EV90: 2023 EV90 Test 1, EV85: 2023 EV85 Test 2, EV78: 2023 EV85 Test 1, EV60: 2023 EV85 Test 1: 

Jumping - SJ & CROSS COUNTRY:   Show jumps in a contained field and finishes with cross-country jumps outside of the ring at the front of the Oakhurst Farm property.  Riders can expect to see a variety of XC obstacles at every height including banks, ditches, water etc.

Additional jumping rounds can be added at the gate or on the entry form for $40 for competitors. 

AWARDS: Ribbons to 8th in all divisions.  

ACCOMMODATIONS: Lots of hotels available in Kanata close to Highway 417.  Primitive camping available on grounds (no hook-ups).

DIRECTIONS: Hwy 7: 10km East of Carleton Place, take Dwyer Hill Road South.  2km turn left on Fernbank Road.  0.5km to Event site at 8249 Fernbank Rd. Stabling and trailer parking is at 8249 Fernbank Road – once on the laneway take the first right to get to stabling and trailer parking.
