Pickering Horse Centre is set on 26 scenic acres just outside Pickering and Ajax.

Our facility is designed with both horses and riders in mind—combining comfort, safety, and professional-grade amenities for every level of equestrian.

Riding Areas

• 6 Outdoor Riding Rings, including:

  • Main Hunter and Jumper rings with all-weather fibre footing

• 2 Indoor Arenas:

  • A heated riding school arena

  • A 90 x 240 competition-sized indoor arena with an adjoining heated/air-conditioned lounge complex

• Permanent Hunter & Jumper courses set up throughout the show season

• All rings are harrowed and watered regularly for optimal footing and safety

Stabling & Horse Care

• 111 horse stalls across three barns:

  • 30-horse Riding School Barn

  • 23-horse Show Barn

  • Dome Barn for additional horse show stabling

• Individual turnout paddocks for show horses

• Grooming & wash stalls for daily care

• Open lunging pens available for training and warm-ups

   

Comfort & Convenience

• Heated and air-conditioned Camp Clubhouse with individual rider lockers

• Snack bar complex open during summer camps and shows

• Indoor washroom facilities for rider and visitor comfort
